A Michigan fan did the impossible, and snuck into the back yard of Urban Meyer’s home, and planted a small Michigan flag. Can Nov. 26, hurry up?

Rivalries in college sports are unmatched to rivalries in professional sports. Some may disagree, but college rivalries are head and shoulders above the competition. In college football, the Ohio State and Michigan rivalry is in a class by itself.

Depending on who you chat with, some call it the best rivalry in sports. The amount of passion is astounding as well as the history behind them. The players, coaches, and universities make them unique, but the fans take it to another level.

Speaking of fans, an obvious admirer of the Michigan Wolverines did the impossible as they trespassed in uncharted territory in Columbus, Ohio. No, it wasn’t Ohio Stadium, it wasn’t the Schottenstein’s Arena, but someone planted a small Michigan flag in Urban Meyer’s backyard.

Before Ohio State fans go Bucknuts and attempt to locate the offender who pulled off the prank the Meyer household took it lightly, well, Mrs. Shelly Meyer did. Coach Meyer’s wife, poked a little fun about the antic, but knowing coach Meyer, he will use the tactic to add motivation to an already burning fire.

I commend whoever completed the prank because it takes some guts to trespass in someone’s yard, let alone Urban Meyer’s yard.

Ohio State doesn’t square off against Michigan until November 26, meaning that there is a lot of time for fans to go back-and-forth with antics supporting their favorite teams.

If the off-the-field gestures are this good, just imagine how exciting the game will be. Can’t wait.
