Swansea, who haven’t won since opening day over three months ago, travel to Goodison Park to face Everton, another team with their fair share of recent problems.
Swansea, firmly rooted to the bottom of the Premier League standings, are level with Sunderland on five points from 11 games. They’ve lost seven of eight and haven’t yet won a match under recently appointed Bob Bradley’s tutelage.
By no means are Everton at their best. The Toffees have gained five points from a possible 18 in their last six matches. And who can forget their dismal display last time out against Chelsea. They were comprehensively dominated in all facets of the game in their 5-0 dismantling.
There is some good news for Everton supporters, though. The Blues welcome Leighton Baines and James McCarthy back from injury. Ronald Koeman hasn’t disclosed what type of part the injured returnees will play.
Idrissa Gueye is back from his one-game suspension while Gareth Barry will, due to a one-match ban of his own, take his place on the sidelines.
Romelu Lukaku must be licking his chops as he prepares to face the league’s second worst defense. The 23-year-old is third in league scoring with seven goals.

Swansea are unbeaten in four against Everton but are traveling to an extremely hostile environment. Goodison Park is a fortress for the Toffees. Everton haven’t lost at home in eight matches and I expect that trend to continue on Saturday.
