The final season of The Vampire Diaries continues on Friday night with episode 7, titled “The Next Time I Hurt Somebody, It Could be You”. Here are the details on how to watch online.
After making the deal with Cade last week to save Caroline and Alaric’s daughter, Stefan and Caroline now only have 24 hours to spend together. After that, Stefan’s soul becomes Cade’s for eternity. In other words, the perfect backdrop for a final Vampire Diaries Christmas episode.
Caroline being who she is, wants to make this the best 24 hours ever. But of course, this is Mystic Falls, and the plan for a perfect Christmas quickly disappear. It all starts to go downhill once Damon and Sybil decide to join the festivities.
Given the title of the episode, and the quote it comes from, it makes sense that this would be far from a happy holiday. Like all of the titles for season 8 episodes, this one comes from season 1; specifically, episode 20. The line is said to Elena by Stefan as he is worried the next time he drinks human blood, she will get hurt.
This was also the episode where the audience learned that story about how the Salvatore brothers unwillingly became vampires. Now Stefan is facing his new fate of serving Cade.
