Tottenham welcome Hull to White Hart Lane on Wednesday, Dec. 14. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

After losing to Manchester United on Sunday, Spurs are in dire need of a win when Hull travel to London on Wednesday. What better way to get over a disappointing 1-0 away result than to welcome a relegation favorite to White Hart Lane, where Spurs are still unbeaten.

White Hart Lane has become a fortress as Tottenham have won five of seven Premier League matches, gaining 17 of a possible 21 home points. They’ve outscored opponents 14-4 on home turf.

Spurs should be extremely confident going into this fixture, especially when taking Hull’s away form into account. Hull haven’t won away from home since August 20, when they beat Swansea 2-0 in Wales. That result came almost four months ago, which is a downright scary stat for Hull supporters.

They’ve taken four points from a possible 21 on their travels so far this season. Hull also find it nearly impossible to keep the ball out of their own net. They have the worst defensive record in the top flight, conceding 32 goals in 15 matches.

That combined with their anaemic offense – 14 goals scored – going up against the Premier League’s joint-top defensive side spells trouble for a Hull team only one point away from joining Sunderland at the bottom of the table.

Basically any stat you look at for this match is damning for the visitors. Harry Kane has scored five combined goals in his last three matches at White Hart Lane, his longest goal-scoring streak at home in the Premier League.

Spurs are unbeaten in seven Premier League encounters with Hull and have won 12 successive Premier League matches at home with freshly promoted sides, further compounding the Tigers’ misery.

Tottenham, with 27 points, need to win to stay in touch with the top four. Spurs are three points adrift of fourth-place Manchester City. This is a must win for Spurs and, barring any full-scale implosions, Tottenham shouldn’t have a problem taking all three points.
