When does the popular CW show The 100 return to television with its fourth season? We have all the details right here.

During the third season of The 100, we watched Clarke pull off the improbable and defeat the homicidal artificial intelligence known as A.L.I.E. It took a team effort with Clarke, Abigail (Clarke’s mother), Raven and the spirit of Lexa. It enabled Clarke to enter the City of Light and ultimately pull the kill switch that destroys A.L.I.E.

Unfortunately for Clarke, the evil A.I. delivered a grim message before she met her demise. Specifically, she noted that there are a number of nuclear power plants around the world that are gradually releasing radiation. As a result, Earth will become uninhabitable within the next six months. Therefore, the City of Light was humanity’s only escape from the inevitable disaster. Despite hearing this, Clarke believes that the human race will persevere and continue to survive even if what A.L.I.E. said came to pass. This is where she pulled the kill switch, and it’s also where the fourth season will begin.

Heading into season 4, there will be new conflicts for Clarke to deal with. There will be former City of Light followers that resent her since they preferred being brainwashed over death by radiation. There will also be the usual encounters with Grounders that blame Skaikru (the Sky People) for bringing their technology down to Earth and being the catalyst of its pending doom.

The upcoming season for this hit series is sure to provide a lot of post-apocalyptic excitement. There is only one question that remains now: when does it return to the television screens of all its fans? We have all of the details you need to know so you don’t miss a moment of the action.
