Nintendo Switch live presentation: How to watch online
The Nintendo Switch live presentation goes down later today. Here’s where and how you can watch online.
We’re hours away from the Nintendo Switch live presentation at 8 p.m. PT/ 11 p.m. ET, and we can’t contain our excitement. This has been a long time coming, and we’re anxious to see what Nintendo’s new console is all about.
A couple of years back, Nintendo revealed that they were working on their new console code-named the NX. Leading up to its official reveal, there were various rumors and mock-ups of what the console would be like. It turns out that most of them were pretty accurate.
Late last year, they officially unveiled the Nintendo Switch. In a brief video, we saw what the console was all about. The Switch will be bringing back a controller with a screen on it. We aren’t sure if it’s a touchscreen just yet, but it does have detachable controllers, which is cool.
The unique part, which essentially sets this console apart, is how you can play on the go. You can take the screen wherever you want and play. It’s that simple. When you return home, you place it back on the dock and play on the screen.
We expect to learn a lot more during the presentation tonight. Here’s how you can watch it.
The best way to go is straight from the Nintendo website. They will be broadcasting the reveal live from there so this should be your go-to. But if you want to have your options open, there’s some other alternatives just in case anything happens to the stream.
The popular streaming service Twitch will also be hosting a stream for the Switch presentation. Twitch is a very popular website, so we expect many fans to go this route since they’re already so familiar with it. Plus, they can type their reactions on the chat.
Finally, YouTube is another way to go. In fact, we’ll make it easier for you and you can watch right down below once the time comes:
