Is Blindspot airing a new episode tonight, February 1? We let you know and tell you what you can expect from the NBC drama next.

If you’re a fan of NBC‘s Blindspot, you’re not losing your memory — the series is pre-empted on Feb. 1, putting it on the shelf for the second week in a row.

Unlike last week when the series at least aired a repeat episode, this Wednesday the show has been pulled off the schedule entirely in favor of a second, earlier episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

The SVU repeat replaces a previously announced rerun of Blindspot‘s season 2, episode 8, “We Fight Death on Thick Lone Waters.” No reason for the swap between repeats was given, but that means there will be back-to-back SVU episodes instead.

The next new episode of Blindspot will air Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 8 p.m. on NBC.

Season 2, episode 13 is called “Named Not One Man” and promises to answer several of the big questions that have swirled around the show all season. Next Wednesday fans are supposed to learn not only Shepherd’s (Michelle Hurd) connection to Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) that goes all the way back to his childhood — but her true identity as well.

How will these reveals affect Weller, not to mention Shepherd’s now-rogue adopted children Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) and Roman (Luke Mitchell), who are now on a quest to take down their mother and Sandstorm? You’ll have to watch to find out, but for now the FBI is taking a back seat to an encore episode of SVU.

While it’s a downer that there’s no new Blindspot again this week, fans can use the additional time off to catch up on season 2 so far. Full episodes are available on NBC.com, NBC on Demand and for download on iTunes.
