Liverpool face Tottenham at Anfield on Saturday, Feb. 11. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
It’s clear Liverpool are on a bad run and need to fix things in a hurry if they’re to finish in the top four. Their title aspirations, trailing Chelsea by 13 points, are all but dead.
The Reds haven’t won in five matches, losing to relegation favorites Hull and Swansea during the current woeful stretch. But Jurgen Klopp’s team always come up with the goods against elite opponents. Of the top six teams, Liverpool have fared the best against the best sides this season.
Liverpool haven’t lost in seven matches against the top six, already beating Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal so far this season. And they’ll be tough to beat on Saturday, especially with over 54,000 boisterous supporters making life difficult for Spurs.
Tottenham come into the match with some questions of their own to answer. Although Spurs are unbeaten in nine, many supporters and pundits alike question their killer instinct of late.
Struggling to score against Middlesbrough at home and being kept off the score sheet completely away to Sunderland are concerns Mauricio Pochettino will want to address. Though Spurs are hoping last week was merely a minor, and inconsequential, blip on their radar.
They got all three points against Middlesbrough and that’s all that really mattered on a frustrating afternoon in front of goal. Spurs, in second place, trail Chelsea by nine points and are a single point ahead of Manchester City.
Tottenham must win to keep their title aspirations alive as it’s difficult to see Chelsea losing three more games than Spurs in the final 14 games.

This match has all the makings of a draw, which would do little for either team in the standings. Neither team can afford a loss in a pivotal encounter of this nature.
It will be up to Spurs, though, to show their intentions from kickoff, as it’s incumbent upon the north London side to take all three points from a struggling Liverpool side to stay within reach of their west London rivals.
