Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series 2017 races on NBC

The NBC Sports family of channels will carry 20 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series events this year leading up to the championship race at Homestead-Miami in November.

When Fox Sports hands off the second half of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season to NBC Sports in July, there will be a similar feel to the Peacock Network’s first race as there was to the opener in February — it begins at Daytona International Speedway. NBC will televise the final 20 events either on the NBC over-the-air network or cable’s NBC Sports Network including all Chase races that will lead to the crowning of the 2017 champion.

New rules and points changes will make for an interesting charge to Homestead-Miami Speedway that is sure to keep fans tuned in during the late summer into the fall. Here is how the races line up for the second half of the season:

  • July 1 @ 7:30 p.m. – Coke Zero Powered By Coca-Cola (NBC) Daytona
    July 8 @ 7:30 p.m. – Quaker State 400 By Advance Auto (NBCSN) Kentucky

  • Aug. 6 @ 3:00 p.m. – Watkins Glen 255 (NBCSN) Watkins Glen
