By now, you probably are aware that Nintendo’s newest console, the Switch, was released to the public today.

The Switch has arrived.

People all over the world are receiving, buying and unboxing Nintendo Switches right at this very moment. Many stores had midnight openings to celebrate the console’s launch, allowing people to pick up their Switches as soon as it turned March 3. Others are patiently waiting for their pre-ordered Switch to land on their doorstep.

And still others probably don’t care all that much.

But at least on Twitter, those who fall into that last category are few and far between. The buzz and hype around the Nintendo Switch is loud, is real and it’s a topic that has taken over the social media platform. We’ve rounded up some of our favorite reactions.

First and foremost, people are excited. The Switch is about to become life for these folks.

Among those who are excited about their new console, there are some who are obsessed with smelling them, for some strange reason. If anyone knows why we should be smelling our Switches, please let us know.

Some people haven’t received it yet and are still waiting on that fateful delivery.

And now that they’ve seen the hype, some people are regretting their decision to not buy a Switch.

Even the other consoles had to show some love to the Switch.

Except for Domino’s, who instead tried to awkwardly use the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild to sell their own pizza. Please stop, Domino’s. Zelda does not want you here.

Next: Breath of the Wild: first impressions

Here’s how a real tribute to Zelda is done.

We hope all of you enjoy your own Switches. And if you still are not sure whether you want to get one, let our review roundup help you decide.
