The IEM Katowice Grand Final features Astralis and FaZe Clan in a battle for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive supremacy. Here’s how you can watch live.

This year’s IEM Katowice Grand Final will be a barn-burner for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive fans around the world. Sunday’s championship match features ELEAGUE Major winners Astralis against the revamped, re-energized FaZe Clan.

Astralis defeated the tournament’s dark horse, Heroic, in the semifinals in a 2-0 sweep, winning 16-12 on Train and Nuke. If there’s one knock to be had against the Danish squad it’s that they lost the Counter-Terrorist side on both maps, having to rely on their Terrorist sides to get them the victories.

They won’t be able to be one dimensional against FaZe Clan. FaZe also swept their way into the Grand Final by beating Immortals 2-0; their victories were more decisive, 16-9 on Inferno and 16-10 on Nuke. FaZe’s only side loss was their Terrorist side on Mirage but they made up for it with a 10-1 drubbing on the Counter-Terrorist side.

FaZe has looked fantastic in their debut with former Mousesports star NiKo. On top of that, the IEM Katowice Grand Final is a little personal as Astralis’s former in-game leader Karrigan is now calling the shots for FaZe.

It’s hard to argue with Astralis’s recent pedigree – this will be their second Grand Final in three events – but if any team can upend them it’s FaZe. There will be fireworks at Spodek as NiKo and Karrigan take on gla1ve and dev1ce with it all on the line.

The winning team will pocket $104,000 in prize money and, of course, a victory to be more than proud of.
