Fans have fallen in love with NBC‘s This Is Us, and no doubt will be looking for a new episode tonight to spend more time with the Pearson family. So Is This Is Us new tonight, March 21?

This Is Us is not new on Tuesday, March 21. The series finished airing its first season last Tuesday, with the season finale “Moonshadow” showing Rebecca (Mandy Moore) being surprised by Jack (Milo Ventimiglia), who drove all the way to her first tour stop in order to mend fences with the woman he loved. And we all cried. Again.

The season finale set a new record as it became the highest rated episode of Season 1.

On March 21 and beyond, the Pearsons will be replaced by new episodes of NBC’s freshman comedy Trial & Error. Starring John Lithgow as a professor accused of killing his wife, the legal series premiered last Tuesday in the time slot belonging to Chicago Fire and then got a re-air on Thursday before Chicago Med, so chances are you’ve caught at least some of it if you’ve watched NBC in the last week.

This Is Us will be back, though we don’t yet know when. The show was renewed for both season 2 and season 3 already — but NBC hasn’t announced a season 2 premiere date yet.

Expect Rebecca, Jack and the entire Pearson family to return to your TV screens sometime this fall.
