The Cleveland Indians’ road back to the World Series begins against the Texas Rangers. Here’s how you can watch the MLB game live, on TV and online.
The Cleveland Indians are determined to be MLB champions after coming so close last year—but to get back to the World Series they’ll first have to get out of Texas.
As the team looks to rebound so will Cleveland starter Carlos Carrasco. An injury limited him to less than 150 innings in the 2016 season, and Carrasco has already had mild elbow inflammation during 2017 Spring Training. But he’s still the Indians’ number two starter and they’ll be counting on him to get them more frames in the new season.
On the other side, Rangers pitcher Martin Perez probably isn’t too happy to be starting his season off against the Tribe. Perez has only pitched against Cleveland once and was destroyed, giving up six runs on ten hits in 5.2 innings. He’s obviously hoping that history does not repeat itself at Globe Life Park on Tuesday.
But all eyes will be on the Indians. Only one team in MLB history has ever won the World Series the year after losing it—the 2015 Kansas City Royals. Can Cleveland join them in baseball history? Or will the Rangers get their comeback season off to a rough start?
