You don’t want to miss this Sunday’s premiere of The Leftovers, so here’s how you can watch.

Less than 24 hours until the season 3 premiere of The Leftovers and I’m beyond anxious. We’ve had to wait far too long. The end of the second season left me in awe and biding my time to see what would happen next. If that wasn’t enough, the premiere date being pushed back six months from its fall slot DID NOT HELP.

As eager as I’ve been to watch The Leftovers, I’ll happily wait an extra few months if it means the end product will be what I think it will. Masterful. I fully expect the show to wrap up as a critically acclaimed and cult classic that maintains its social relevance for years to come.

As much as I wish this wasn’t the final season, it may be better off. The second season was incredible considering it wasn’t based on any source material like the first season. I trust executive producer Damon Lindelof knows what he’s doing since he did give the hit show Lost the ending it deserved after a six-season run. If three seasons is all Damon needs to wrap up The Leftovers, then that’s all Damon needs. No questions asked.

The trailer below will give you a taste of what’s to come this year. Madness!

This week’s episode has a talented group at the helm, having been directed by Mimi Leder and written by Lindelof and Patrick Somerville. Given the show’s religious and spiritual inklings, is it any coincidence that the premiere airs on Easter Sunday? I think not. Details on ways to watch the premiere below:

Date: Sunday, April 16
Start Time: 9 p.m. EST
Episode: “The Book of Kevin”
TV Channel: HBO
Live Stream: HBO GOFubo.TV
