Southampton host Hull as the Premier League winds down. The Saints sit in the middle of the Premier League table, while Hull sit two points ahead of the relegation zone. Hull continue to fight for their Premier League survival.

Southampton ran into league-leading Chelsea in their last game on Tuesday. Chelsea got off to a fast start with Eden Hazard find the back of the net in the fifth minute. Oriol Romeu tied the game for Southampton, scoring off of a corner. Defender Gary Cahill scored right before halftime. Eight minutes into the second half, Diego Costa scored his first of two second half goals. In injury time, Ryan Bertrand scored for the Saints.

Hull faced Watford on Saturday as they looked to stay ahead of Swansea in the battle to avoid the drop. In the 25th minute, Oumar Niasse was sent off with a red card. Despite going down to 10-men, Hull were able to rally in the second half. Hull broke away on a counter attack with Lazar Markovic scoring. Nine minutes later, Sam Clucas sealed the victory for Hull with a beautiful strike from outside of the box. Keeper Eldin Jakupovic was excellent for Hull against Watford and made several big saves. For Hull to survive, they need Jakupovic to continue his strong play.
