West Brom comfortably sit eighth in the Premier League table. On Saturday, they host reigning league champions Leicester, who sit 15th in the table.
West Brom are coming into Saturday’s game well-rested. Tony Pulis’ side haven’t played since April 16. In their last game, West Brom were defeated 1-0 by Liverpool after Roberto Firmino scored right before halftime. The rest should be a huge advantage for West Brom, who face a Leicester team that played Arsenal on Wednesday.
The hot streak that Leicester experienced after firing manager Claudio Ranieri and replacing him with Craig Shakespeare has come to an end. Shakespeare won his first six games in charge of the Tigers. However, since then Leicester has captured just one of a possible nine points and were eliminated from the Champions League by Atletico Madrid. Wednesday, the Tigers were defeated by Arsenal after center-back Robert Huth scored an own goal in the 86th minute. Arsenal controlled the game, maintaining 69 percent possession and taking 12 corner kicks.
