Will one of the detectives of Chicago PD be leaving the series in the season finale? Here’s how you can watch season 4, episode 23 live, on TV and online.

Is an original cast member about to leave NBC‘s Chicago PD? That’s what fans are worried about going into Wednesday’s season finale, and you’ll have to watch live to find out the truth.

Season 4, episode 23 is called “Fork in the Road” and fans fear it may be the exit episode for Erin Lindsay (Sophia Bush), who’s currently in front of a police hearing board and may lose her job. Meanwhile, Chicago PD added new character Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos), who has become a member of the Intelligence Unit. The fan speculation is that Upton may replace Lindsay, with Sophia Bush leaving the series.

The show itself isn’t going anywhere, though, as NBC renewed it for season 5 last week.

Here’s how NBC officially describes the episode:

"When Lindsay receives a panicked call from her mother Bunny whose boyfriend had just been shot, Lindsay must figure out the best way to approach the situation, as her mother is now a murder suspect. The case opens up when a group of high school students OD, and the drugs in question relate back to the situation with Bunny. In addition to her mother’s issues, Lindsay finds herself up against the review board dealing with consequences of her actions."
