With a week in the books, the WNBA is growing in popularity. The ladies are showcasing fundamental basketball and the league is loaded with superstar players. Let’s take a look the players who can help ensure you fantasy success on Saturday.

Saturday’s WNBA slate features two games. In a battle of the winless teams, the Indiana Fever will host the Connecticut Sun at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse. The Fever are looking to avenge their most recent loss to the Phoenix Mercury, a game that saw Brittney Griner put up a dominant 32 points. The Fever give up a league worst 86 points per game and will need to get it together if they hope to get a W. Connecticut isn’t doing much better, as they give up 81 points per game, good for second worst in the league.

The formidable, undefeated Minnesota Lynx will head to Dallas to meet with the Wings. The Lynx, lead by the dominant tandem of Sylvia Fowles and Maya Moore average 80 points per game, which is second in the league. They will look to stay unbeaten against a Wings team that is also undefeated.

Let’s get started!

High Salary G

Kaela Davis – Dallas Wings ($6,800): The rookie was efficient in her WNBA debut and helped lead the wings over Phoenix last Sunday. Davis came off the bench, scoring 20 points in 28 minutes. She was also perfect from the free throw line, making eight shots. Davis and the Wings will host the undefeated Minnesota Lynx on Saturday, a team that leads the league in opponent field goal percentage per game. It is unknown if Davis will continue to come off the bench but even if she does, it is expected that she will continue to see a good chunk of minutes.

Shenise Johnson – Indiana Fever ($6,400): After a monstrous performance in the season opener that saw Shenise Johnson score 24 points and amass 44 fantasy points, she fell off the map against the Phoenix Mercury, scoring only two points on a horrific 1-for-11 shooting performance. The good news is that Johnson and the Fever head home for a matchup with the Connecticut Sun. The Sun are second in the league so far this season in opponent points per game so if Johnson is going to have a bounce back performance, Saturday may be the day.
