La La Anthony hints Carmelo Anthony could be going to Cleveland
By Jason Evans

La La Anthony went on a New York Radio show and hinted that Carmelo Anthony could find his way to Cleveland.
With Phil Jackson being shown the door earlier this week, it’s the dawn of a new day in New York. There was speculation all week that Jackson wanted to give Carmelo Anthony, who has two years remaining on his contract, a buyout. This year, he’s due $26.2 million with a player option for 2018-19 at $27.9 million.
James Dolan wanted no part of that, and now Steve Mills is running the show (at least for now). The Knicks are trying to find a way to move his contract and it seems like the best thing for both parties is to split up.
With Paul George being dealt to Oklahoma City last night and Chris Paul now in Houston, the big fish the Cleveland Cavaliers can try and get to change things up would be Carmelo.
La La Anthony was on Hot 97 in New York and had this to say.

Seemed innocent and she named a bunch of teams. But still...🤔 pic.twitter.com/L1k0HYW46i
She does name a few teams (notice they are all in the Eastern conference) so that way Carmelo can stay close to their son.
Cleveland could be a good fit for Carmelo, so he can play with buddy LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. However, the Cavs would need to give something up in return, and it would probably be Kevin Love, who’s the only player other than LeBron on a comparable contract to Melo.

Would switching Love for Anthony really make the Cavs a better team? Love impressed in a losing effort against the Warriors in the Finals last season, and he’s a lot younger than Melo, too. It would be a big risk.
