Brandon Marshall walks out of Boston interview

New York Giants receiver Brandon Marshall walked out on radio interview over racial comments made previously.
Often in the headlines for the wrong reasons over the course of his career, wide receiver Brandon Marshall walked off an interview Thursday morning after a dispute over comments he previously made in regards race and treatment by the league.
During the interview on WEEI during the Kirk and Callahan Show, Marshall was asked about comments he had made in 2015 that white players, specifically quarterbacks, are treated differently than other players. That’s when things turned interesting.

At that point in the interview, Marshall reiterated his belief that black men are treated differently in the country and let it be known that the subject needed to be changed or the interview would be over.
Shown by the TMZ story, Marshall stopped the interview and walked out after the radio hosts began that line of questioning. This is not the first time Marshall’s name has made the news during the offseason. During OTAs, New York Jets defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson showed little sadness over the departure of Marshall from the team, stating that he was a distraction last year in the locker room.
After being released by the Jets this offseason during their flurry of veteran purges, the Giants signed him to a two-year, $12 million deal. Marshall will be alongside Odell Beckham Jr. and Sterling Shepard, giving New York once of the best receiver trios in the game.
