Ottawa Redblacks host the Montreal Alouettes at TD Place Stadium on Wednesday, July 19. Here’s everything you need to watch.

Montreal upset Calgary behind another strong defensive performance and a good game on the ground from the league’s leading rusher Tyrell Sutton. However, Sutton will miss the Alouettes next game in Ottawa. Brandon Rutley will start in the backfield and has served in admirably in the past for Montreal. If the Als offensive line can continue to open up big holes, Montreal can control the pace of the game and keep Ottawa’s explosive offense from getting on the field. Despite throwing only five incompletions against Calgary, quarterback Darian Durant has struggled in his first season with Montreal. Durant has thrown as many interceptions as touchdowns.

The Redblacks are still looking for their first win of the season. The reigning Grey Cup champions tied their season opener and followed it up with three consecutive losses by a combined margin of seven points. Offensively, Ottawa is dynamic as quarterback Trevor Harris has shown an ability to pick apart opposing defenses when given time in the pocket. However, the Redblacks defense has allowed the most points in the CFL and has struggled to create turnovers. Ottawa’s offense is good enough to make up for its defense but has not been able to do that this year.
