Put the rumors to bed. Kylian Mbappe could be on his way to PSG sooner rather than later.

There have been no shortages of transfer rumors regarding AS Monaco’s budding superstar Kylian Mbappé. According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sports (Italia), he may have finally found a new home. Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain are rumored to be on the verge of signing the 18-year-old phenom in a multi-player deal.

The asking price for Mbappe’s services is estimated to be at a whopping €140 million. However, PSG is also looking to acquire Brazilian midfielder Fabinho from their French rivals while the Parisian club would send fellow countryman and right-winger Lucas Moura back Monaco’s way. Reportedly, manager Unai Emery is set to spend a grand total of €220-million:

In translating his colleague Di Marzio’s Italian article, Claudio Calcio adds that Leonardo Jardim’s club could make a serious push for Juventus’ Italian striker Andrea Boletti as they would benefit from an influx of spending money. Monaco would have to activate Boletti’s €100 million release clause in order to sign the 23-year-old.

After losing prolific striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Manchester United last season, Paris St-Germain have looked to take a load of pressure off of Edinson Cavani’s shoulders.

They made a historic splash this summer by triggering  Neymar’s world record €222 million release clause, which is starting to pay dividends. The Brazilian superstar and former Barcelona man has already notched three goals and three assists through two Ligue 1 games, none of which are more spectacular than the following highlights:

Still, it’s clear that PSG are desperate to earn themselves championship pedigree in the UEFA Champions League, and the additions of Mbappe and Fabinho along with Neymar are almost guaranteed to instantly make the French club serious contenders for Real Madrid’s crown.
