Here’s how you can watch the No. 7 Oklahoma Sooners open their 2017-18 college football season against the UTEP Miners at home on Saturday afternoon.

The Oklahoma Sooners have a bit easier task to open their season compared to last year. Instead of opening their campaign against a hungry Houston Cougars bunch led by Greg Ward, Jr., Ed Oliver and Tom Herman, the Sooners will open the 2017-18 season at home against UTEP.

Baker Mayfield returns to the fray for one final go-around in Norman for new Sooners head coach Lincoln Riley and there’s only one goal in mind: get back to the College Football Playoff for the second time in three seasons to try and win a national title.

It won’t be easy for Mayfield and the Sooners to navigate back to the playoff with stern challenges awaiting them in a trip to Columbus awaiting them next week against Ohio State and then a trip to Stillwater to face in-state and conference rival Oklahoma State on Nov. 4.

As for this week however, the task at hand won’t be as complicated as those other two trips out of town. The Miners of UTEP have won just 21 games in the last five seasons and look to be a easy tune-up for the Sooners before their big showdown with J.T. Barrett and the Buckeyes next Saturday night in Ohio.

Here’s how you can watch the Sooners in action against the Miners this week.
