Everton and Tottenham have both started the season with four points from their first three games. The two teams meet at Goodison Park on Saturday in what could be one of the best games of the weekend.
Everton started their season with a win over Stoke and a draw against Manchester City before being easily beaten by Chelsea 2-0. The start leaves many questions to be answered about how good the Toffees are. Wayne Rooney has scored the only Premier League goals for Everton this season and at 31 years old, Rooney cannot be expected to keep that pace up. If Everton are going to move into the top six this season, they need to find more players who can score goals.

Tottenham opened the season with a win over Newcastle, a loss to Chelsea and a draw with Burnley. Dele Alli has got off to an excellent start with two goals. However, Harry Kane has gotten off to a poor start. Kane has gone goalless in his first three games despite taking 24 shots. Prior to the transfer window closing, Spurs signed right-back Serge Aurier to replace Kyle Walker. He could play a major role for the club and will likely be included in the starting XI most weeks.
