The Charlotte Hornets unveiled their new classic uniforms to the world, inspiring positive feedback across Buzz City.

The Charlotte Hornets shared their new classic uniforms to the world on Wednesday and were met with a mostly positive reaction.

This will be the fifth uniform in their repertoire for the upcoming 2017-18 season and will be worn for three home games throughout the year: Nov. 15 against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Dec. 23 vs the Milwaukee Bucks and Jan. 13 against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The uniforms are based off the original design worn by the Hornets back in 1988 upon their inception and was worn up until 1997:

There’s no question this is one of the more famous and likeable uniforms from the 1990s and is still being worn by fans today. This classic jersey can be bought in stores beginning in November.

Hopefully, the new jersey design will continue to excite the fan base for what should be a promising season. The Hornets finished a disappointing 36-46 last season after racking up 48 wins throughout the 2015-16 campaign.

The addition of Dwight Howard for the low, combined with Kemba Walker, Malik Monk (despite his injury), and Nicolas Batum will give the Hornets a nice core to work with. They have fairly good depth at every position and will certainly be a team to keep an eye on.
