The Cowboys needed to bounce back in a big way on Monday night against the Cardinals in a big NFC matchup. Who came out on top at the end of the night?

The Dallas Cowboys were on the wrong end of an absolute beatdown by the Denver Broncos in Week 2, but they came right back and looked strong against the Arizona Cardinals on the road on Monday night.

In a closer game than some would’ve thought it would be, the Cowboys won 28-17 on the primetime stage, with Dak Prescott stealing the show in Glendale in front of the Monday Night Football audience.

The game had plenty of great highlights throughout, which is to be expected with the Cowboys high-powered offense, and it didn’t disappoint on the big stage to end an incredible Week 3. We’ll let the highlights speak for themselves, however, and you can check them out below:

Three Stars

1. Dak Prescott

The young stud under center for the Cowboys absolutely delivered on Monday night, leading his team through the air when Ezekiel Elliott wasn’t scoring touchdowns left and right. He had some great chemistry with Brice Butler throughout the night, and got Dez Bryant involved on the action to make it a well-rounded affair. Prescott shined in this win, and carried them to a victory.

2. Ezekiel Elliott

While he may not deserve a spot as the second star, it’s nice to see Elliott getting back on track in the running game for the Cowboys. He broke off some big runs and had a nice touchdown to add to his stat line, and I’m sure the Cowboys are excited to see the Elliott of old returning to the field before it was too late.

3. Larry Fitzgerald

A lot of people could’ve been put as this star, but Larry Fitzgerald put on an absolute show on Monday night with some of his catches and scoring. It’d be interesting to see how Fitzgerald’s career would’ve played out elsewhere, because he has carried this team for seemingly forever since he’s been drafted, and was very successful on Monday night.

Next Week

The Cowboys will look to continue their momentum against the Los Angeles Rams at home next week, while the Cardinals will look to gain back some ground in the NFC West with a game against the San Francisco 49ers at home.
