Everton face Burnley at Goodison Park on Sunday, Oct. 1. Here’s all the info you need to watch this Premier League match.

Everton are currently 14th in the Premier League table after defeating Bournemouth 2-1 at home last Saturday. It was their first win in five league matches. Wayne Rooney had to exit the game after his left eye was bloodied in a challenge. His replacement, Oumar Niasse, would prove to be the difference maker as he provided both goals and lifted the Toffees to victory.

Everton will be thankful for a second straight match at Goodison Park as they look to build upon their recent win. They have only scored four goals this season, and Niasse’s brace were the first goals not scored by Rooney. More goal scorers will need to step up if the Toffees want to climb up the table.

Burnley continue to hang around the top half of the league table. They are in ninth place on nine points leaving them only two points behind fourth-place Tottenham. The Clarets are coming off scoreless draw at home with Huddersfield, another over-preforming club. They will expect to come away with at least a point on Sunday.

Everton will feel a bit lucky with their comeback win from last week, but it should also boost their confidence going forward. Finishing in the top half of the table may be unlikely for Burnley, but the Clarets have shown no fear when going up against the “bigger” clubs so far this season.
