Who are the top pickups off the waiver wire this week in fantasy football?

Another Sunday slate is in the books, and the fantasy football season is in full flow. It was another crazy weekend of football, and as expected, all of our predictions and anticipated happenings were thrown out of the window with ensuing madness. After all the twists, turns, and injuries, who should be targeting on the waiver wire for Week 5?

10. J.D. McKissic

How about Mckissic’s break out against Indianapolis? After impressive rookie Chris Carson went down with an ankle injury which coach Pete Carroll has called “significant”, McKissic was involved heavily and provided a great spark.

On his first run, the 2016 undrafted free agent broke free for a 30-yard scamper on only his second career NFL carry. Later on in the game, he showed his receiving prowess as he split two defenders to leap up and secure the ball for a 27-yard touchdown through the air.

The other running backs in this backfield (Carson, Eddie Lacy, Thomas Rawls and C.J Prosise) are likely to be owned, but Pete Carroll shows no loyalty and doesn’t care too much for prior success. If you are the hot hand, you are in, and McKissic looks like a man to Seattle Seahawks will want to get involved a lot more heavily moving forward. He’s worth a shot.
