At Oklahoma – Nov. 11

When we began to see that TCU was for real this year following their beating of Oklahoma State, everyone scrambled to their schedules to see when and where they would match up with the other team from the Sooner State, the Oklahoma Sooners. That answer is Nov. 11 in Norman, but you see, Oklahoma did not fare as well as the Horned Frogs did on Saturday, as they were upset at home by the Iowa State Cyclones.

With the Oklahoma loss, it was easy for people to maybe write off the upcoming game entirely while claiming no one can take down the Horned Frogs. But that could be far from the case.

Following the stunning loss to Iowa State on Saturday, this Sooners team now has a chip on its shoulder and they know their margin for error now is non-existent. When TCU comes into Norman on Nov. 11, they will probably see the best quarterback Baker Mayfield and his team has to offer, which provides the potential for a letdown on that day.

Just because Oklahoma had a hiccup against a team like Iowa State doesn’t mean they won’t be ready for TCU as they hope to keep their own Big 12 aspirations intact.
