Additionally, they signed reigning MVP, Russell Westbrook, to a lucrative five-year extension. In short, the Thunder should be very good this season and could be for many seasons to come. Oklahoma City fans have fresh reasons to be optimistic about their squad.

Contrarily, the New York Knicks are rebuilding. As a result, the Anthony era in New York had to end. Accordingly, the Knicks are betting their future on Kristaps Porzingis, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Frank Ntilikina. Despite the roster shakeup, the Eastern Conference is only getting weaker. Carmelo Anthony can finally play meaningful basketball again.
