Arkansas State head coach Blake Anderson took a hilarious jab at Arkansas during a speaking engagement recently.

Arkansas State Red Wolves head coach Blake Anderson gave everyone at the Little Rock Touchdown Club quite the laugh recently. More specifically, he gave everyone this laugh at the expense of the other program in the state from the SEC.

The Red Wolves are quite overlooked when talking about football in Arkansas, and Blake Anderson’s experience at a school he paid a visit to certainly validated that theory. Anderson visited an elementary school with a bunch of his guys to read to the kids. While walking in, Blake noticed tons of Razorbacks decorations within the classroom. It just so happened the elementary classroom Anderson and his guys were visiting was filled with Razorbacks fans.

Anderson did an experiment by a show of hands who was a fan of Arkansas. 29 of the 30 kids were presented as Razorback fans. However, one girl didn’t raise her hand. Anderson asked the girl what team she liked, and she said the Red Wolves. This gave Blake Anderson a great relief and sense of pride.

The funniest part of the story was, of course, the punchline at the end. The girl was asked why she was a Red Wolf fan. The girl, named Jenny, said her parents are Red Wolf fans. The teacher tells her that she doesn’t have to like something because of her parents. The teacher then asked, “what if your parents were both losers?” Jenny responded with, “then I’d be a Razorback.”

Arkansas is suffering through yet another miserable season under head coach Bret Bielema, as they have yet to win a game in SEC play. As if things aren’t bad enough, now Arkansas State and its head coach are out here trolling them with jabs like this one. What a time.
