The FanSided college football experts are back to make some college football picks from the biggest games of the week, including Miami and Notre Dame.

Last weekend was a bit of a mixed bag for our predictions. On one hand, we both nailed Oklahoma and Alabama winning their games over Oklahoma State and LSU, respectively. On the other hand, we both missed on the upset picks of Stanford over Washington State and Virginia Tech over Miami. Jack went for a trio of upsets and had NC State over Clemson while I played the favorite. I went 3-2 while Jack went 2-3.

As college football experts we will strive to provide better picks and predictions for the handful of Week 11 games we’re picking for you all. The Week 11 slate features a ton of great games, and you should try to watch as many of them as possible, but if you can only watch five games, make it this quintet.

College Football Picks

No. 9 Washington at Stanford – Friday – 10:30 p.m. – FS1

  • Schmidt: Stanford
  • Jorgensen: Washington

I’m rising the Cardinal for a second week in a row. Bryce Love is getting healthier and he should have a tough test against Washington’s No. 1 defense, but I think the home environment will be the difference. Last time Washington was on the road was their lone loss on the year to Arizona State. Meanwhile, Stanford returns home for the first time in three weeks and think The Farm will be bumping on a Friday night.

No. 12 Michigan State at No. 13 Ohio State – 12 p.m. – Fox

  • Schmidt: Ohio State
  • Jorgensen: Ohio State

Ohio State looked terrible last week after allowing 55 in a loss at Iowa, but there’s no possible way Urban Meyer will have his team looking that poorly two weeks in a row, right? Michigan State is coming off an emotional win over Penn State, so they could be due for a letdown on the road in Columbus.

No. 1 Georgia at No. 10 Auburn – 3:30 p.m. – CBS

  • Schmidt: Georgia
  • Jorgensen: Georgia

The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry continues with the best game in this rivalry in years. Auburn is looking to play the role of spoiler while Georgia is looking to strengthen their case as the top team in the country.

No. 6 TCU at No. 5 Oklahoma – 8:00 p.m. – Fox

  • Schmidt: Oklahoma
  • Jorgensen: Oklahoma

This Big 12 showdown will see the loser eliminated from the playoff conversation and the Big 12 race, in all likelihood. Oklahoma is coming off a 61-point output against Oklahoma State and Baker Mayfield is the prohibitive favorite to win the Heisman. We both expect him to be the favorite after the game as well.

No. 3 Notre Dame at No. 7 Miami – 8:00 p.m. – ABC

  • Schmidt: Notre Dame
  • Jorgensen: Notre Dame

College GameDay is in attendance for this once great rivalry between the Canes and the Fighting Irish. The loser can say goodbye to their playoff hopes and a win should be enough for Miami to inch closer toward a top-four spot, but could still find themselves below the winner of Oklahoma-TCU. We don’t see that happening though because we’re both riding with Brandon Wimbush and Notre Dame to pick up the road win.
