This week on Arrow, it is the conclusion of the two-part Deathstroke focused storyline. Back in Star City, Team Arrow deals with more tech robberies.

The quest to help Slade Wilson’s son continues in this episode of Arrow. But as Slade and Oliver learned at the end of last week’s episode, Joe Wilson/Kane Wolfman does not need any help. That is because Joe is the leader of the mercenary group, The Jackals.

For as much as Slade talked about his life as Deathstroke ruining his family, Joe has basically turned into his father. Complete with his own sword. And while Oliver can see how dangerous Joe really is, Slade may end up following his son back into more evil territory. As revealed in the trailer, Slade’s efforts to reconnecting with his son may lead to Deathstroke holding a sword to Oliver’s throat, again.

Here is the synopsis of the episode, “Promises Kept”, from SpoilerTV.

"OLIVER MAKES A BIG DECISION — As Slade (guest star Manu Bennett) continues to uncover clues about his son’s last few years, Oliver (Stephen Amell) makes a big decision. Meanwhile, the Green Arrow (David Ramsey) leads the team into battle against “The Dragon,” a villain who is stealing valuable tech in Star City."

It looks like all of the drama with father and son Wilson will lead to Oliver making “a big decision” this episode. Unfortunately, the teaser promos for the Arrowverse crossover, “Crisis on Earth-X”, ruins what the decision will be. It is Oliver becoming the Green Arrow again.

Not exactly the most shocking turn of events. Basically, since John Diggle became the Green Arrow, the countdown has been on to when Oliver would suit back up. It would make sense that it would happen before the crossover and that is what has happened.

While Oliver continues on his adventures with Deathstroke, Team Arrow is keeping busy in Star City. The Dragon is stealing tech and that could be a sign that he is working with Cayden James. In the comics, The Dragon (also known as Richard Dragon) is on the heroic side. He is one of the best martial artists in the DC universe. While not a hero on Arrow, it will be interesting to see if the show keeps The Dragon’s martial arts abilities.
