The Steelers and Titans are both battling for different types of playoff stakes, and they’ll look to improve their chances on Thursday Night Football in Week 11.

While the Pittsburgh Steelers and Tennessee Titans may be fighting for two different kinds of postseason positions in the AFC playoff race, they’ll both need the same thing when they play on Thursday night in Week 11.

The Titans will travel to Pittsburgh with some serious momentum in their favor, specifically in the Steelers’ own division. The Titans have played all three of the Steelers’ divisional rivals in the AFC North over the last three weeks, and have pulled out wins in each game to pile onto their win streak.

While each win has obviously helped the Titans in their own divisional race in the AFC South, each AFC North victory has in turn furthered the Steelers’ lead in their division. Now, the Titans will look to reverse fortune for the Steelers and put a dent in their hopes for a top two seed in the AFC with a victory on Thursday night.

Odds: Steelers -7 , according to OddsShark

The Steelers are definitely the stronger team in this matchup, with Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown and LeVeon Bell providing a three-headed monster for the team’s offense to unleash at home on the Titans and their defense. It’s a tough trio to stop, and may give the Titans some fits in Week 11.

Next: Every NFL team's greatest moment of all-time

A short week can change everything in the NFL, with the lack of rest impacting some teams more than others. In this case, however, I don’t see the Steelers being impacted as much as some other squads may be. They’ll have the hometown crowd behind them, a ton of talent on both sides of the ball to work with, and I don’t see them losing in a key game for their playoff hopes in 2017.

Prediction: Steelers 23, Titans 13
