Is one of the ship’s crew members going to take down The Orville? That’s the dilemma in front of the FOX sci-fi series this Thursday, as things start going incredibly wrong at the same time a main character begins to question her fitness.

Season 1, Episode 10 is called “Firestorm” and involves Alara (Halston Sage) wondering if she’s a liability after a literal fire breaks out on the ship that causes the death of one of her colleagues. It is only the start of this The Orville season 1 episode, though. While Alara starts to go to pieces, so does the ship, as inexplicable things begin to happen. Are the two things connected? It’s up to Ed Mercer (Seth MacFarlane) and his crew to find out.

The show probably can’t destroy the ship, because we’re not through The Orville season 1 and there will be The Orville season 2, so we kind of need it. But that doesn’t mean “Firestorm” can’t have all kinds of mayhem and come close to destruction, like the Star Trek shows did so many times.
