Bayern Munich are first in the Bundesliga after 11 despite having to make a managerial change. Since taking over, Jupp Heynckes has yet to drop points in any competitions. Augsburg are 10th in the Bundesliga with 16 points in their first 11 games.

Bayern defeated Borussia Dortmund 3-1 in their last game before the international break. The win moved Bayern six points ahead of their biggest rival. Injuries have forced Heynckes to alter his formation again on Saturday. Bayern could be without Jerome Boateng and David Alaba as both players have been dealing with injuries. Defensively, Bayern have allowed the fewest goals in the Bundesliga. Heyneckes decided to move Javi Martinez from center-back to defensive midfielder has improved the club as Martinez has thrived in his new role.

Only Bayern and Schalke have allowed fewer goals than Augsburg. Despite having a plus-five goal differential, Augsburg are in the middle of the table. Michael Gregoritsch and Alfred Finnbogason might not get a lot of attention but the duo has combined for 10 of Augsburg’s 16 goals. However, an ankle injury will sideline Gregoritsch, which will limit the club’s chances on goal.
