The Saints and Rams went at it in a battle of two of the NFC’s best teams on Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles. Who came out with the victory?

The New Orleans Saints may have been on a huge winning streak heading into their Week 12 trip to Los Angeles to play the Rams, but that didn’t stop the hometown team from putting that run to an absolute halt on Sunday.

The Saints and Rams battled in a close game in a matchup of two of the top teams that the NFC has to offer, and the hometown Rams ended up pulling out a 26-20 victory on the day to send the Saints home with a big L. Despite a late scare from the Saints on a touchdown to Alvin Kamara from Drew Brees, the Rams closed things out to move to 8-3 on the year.

There were a ton of highlights on the day, with Kamara putting on a show for the Saints and Jared Goff going off offensively for the Rams. If you missed any of the action, check out the highlights from the game below:

Three Stars

1. Jared Goff

The Rams quarterback was right back into form on Sunday against one of the league’s hottest teams, throwing two touchdowns on the day to lead the Rams to a huge win at home. He threw for 354 yards on 28 completions, and got right back into a rhythm at the right time for the Rams.

2. Alvin Kamara

Even in the loss, Alvin Kamara lit up the Rams defense, busting off a 74-yard touchdown run along with a 15-yard touchdown pass to pace the Saints offense. Although the effort wasn’t enough, Kamara put on a show on the road for the fans in Los Angeles.

3. Greg Zuerlein

Zuerlein’s three field goals in the second half proved to be the difference maker for the Rams on the day, giving them the extra boost they needed on the scoreboard to end the Saints’ winning streak and get the Rams back on track.
