NBA Award Watch: Wade, Kanter and Durant make first appearances
Perfect Play
Kyrie Irving has the dribble at the top of the key, crossover dribble, step back and a dagger three over the out-stretched arms of a defenders. Golden State Warriors’ fans have PTSD whenever they think of that move.
Irving did the exact same thing over Stephen Curry in Game 7 of the NBA Finals to clinch the championship for Cleveland that he did on Monday night over the Milwaukee Bucks. While the moment wasn’t as great or the shot, the move was the same and left pain in the hearts of Bucks’ fans.

Just like the tweet from Bleacher Report reads, it was an “Uncle Drew Dagger” alright. Irving had the ball with the Celtics up nine points late in the fourth quarter, but a three-pointer from the top of the key pushed the lead to 12 and ending the night for Milwaukee.
It was the perfect play to cap off a perfect start to the season for the Boston Celtics.
