Aaron Judge seems pretty pumped about Giancarlo Stanton joining him on the Yankees

Aaron Judge had maybe the best reaction on Saturday to the news that Giancarlo Stanton is the newest member of the Yankees.
There may have been no bigger story in sports on Saturday than the news that Miami Marlins slugger Giancarlo Stanton will be the newest member of the New York Yankees. Following some discussions between the two sides that took place Friday night into Saturday, Stanton decided to waive his no-trade clause and head off to the Bronx after the two organizations were able to come to a deal.
Given the fact this monumental transaction involves the Yankees — who are quickly turning back to their Evil Empire persona — there’s a ton baseball fans hate out of this deal. One thing in particular that irks them the wrong way is the fact that the Yanks now have two 6-foot-6 power hitters in their lineup. Stanton, who belted 59 home runs last season, will be joining American League Rookie of the Year Aaron Judge, who tagged 52 balls out of the park himself. Yes, these two are going to be in the same lineup come next spring, as unbelievable as that may sound.
You know who doesn’t hate this turn of events that landed Stanton in New York, though? Judge. Some may think the rookie believes he’s having the thunder stolen from him with the addition of Stanton, but that’s not the case. On Twitter, Judge showed the excitement he feels about his new teammate by channeling maybe one of the most famous scenes from the movie Step Brothers.

So, yeah, if anyone was of the belief there was some jealousy on Judge’s part, it certainly doesn’t seem that way. They’re going to get along just fine playing together, and in fact, the threats both of them pose will end up benefitting each other throughout the season at times.
These two did just become best friends with this trade, and baseball is now terrified about what’s to come.
