Ryan Murphy returns to FOX with the 9-1-1 series premiere on Wednesday. Here’s how to watch 9-1-1 season 1, episode 1 live, on TV and online.
Ryan Murphy is back on FOX this Wednesday with 9-1-1. Here is how to watch 9-1-1 online or watch 9-1-1 live so that you can catch the first episode of Murphy’s new procedural drama.
The series focuses on LAPD first responders, and anyone who’s familiar with past Ryan Murphy shows will recognize familiar faces amongst its stellar cast. Connie Britton (American Horror Story) and Angela Bassett (American Horror Story) are two of the series regulars, joined by Peter Krause (The Catch).
But will audiences be interested? We certainly don’t think of cops and firefighters when we think of Ryan Murphy, so 9-1-1 season 1 will be a change of pace for him. Yet with stellar actors like Connie Britton coming right back to TV after her departure from Nashville, this series deserves a little buzz. You should watch the 9-1-1 series premiere Wednesday just to see what the show cooks up for these talented performers.
Here’s how FOX officially describes the episode:
"It takes a team of people to help answer the famous question, “911, what’s your emergency?” Detective Athena Grant works as a member of the police force, handling cases that require her sharp mind and expertise, while also trying to juggle her own family drama. Bobby Nash and his team of firefighters help execute the daring rescues that often come along with these life-threatening situations.Meanwhile, Abby Clark spends her days taking and fielding emergency calls at the 911 call center, but constantly desires to know what happens after she sends help. Don’t miss the intense and emotionally charged introduction to this team."
