Jerome Bettis thinks Jaguars might be able to beat Steelers

Hall of Fame running back Jerome Bettis dishes on the Steelers playoff dreams, James Harrison to the Patriots, and more.

Jerome Bettis hasn’t been on an actual bus since he was a little kid, but the Steelers great drove more than his share of defenders into the ground over his Hall of Fame career. He won a Super Bowl back in 2005 and will be back at the NFL’s biggest game this year as part of a charity event. Bettis sat down with ‘On The Mark’ and dished on, among other things, the idea that his former teammate James Harrison might be back at the Super Bowl this year as a member of the Patriots.

“In order to be the champs, you gotta beat the champs. I think they can,” Jerome Bettis opined.

Bettis also discussed the Steelers chances and his biggest fear in the divisional round — the Jacksonville Jaguars. Listen to the full interview below:

The career that Bettis turned in was one of the best we’ve ever seen. He’s still a fixture with the Steelers and in his original football home of Los Angeles, and it sounds like the Bus is going to be running for years to come.
