Bayern Munich face Schalke at the Allianz Arena on Saturday, Feb. 10. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

After defeating Mainz 2-0 last weekend, Bayern Munich have moved 18 points clear of second place Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga table. On Saturday, Bayern host Schalke at the Allianz Arena. The Royal Blues lost last weekend 2-1 to Werder Bremen, after two mistakes by keeper Ralf Fährmann. The loss dropped Schalke to fifth, only one point out of second place.

In 10 home games this season, Bayern have won nine, picking up 28 of a possible 30 points. Striker Robert Lewandowski has scored in every home game this season, and his 18 goals lead the Bundesliga by a wide margin. Jupp Heynckes’ side have won eight straight games and if they win eight more games this season, they will claim their sixth straight Bundesliga championship. Heynckes has experienced great success in his fourth stint as Bayern’s manager. Since taking over for Carlo Ancelotti, Heynckes has brought new life into the squad by regularly rotating his starting XI.

Domenico Tedesco’s side have struggled lately, picking up only four points in their last four games. While the title race in Germany is effectively over, the race for Europe is extremely tight. Four points separate second place Leverkusen and eighth place Borussia Monchengladbach. Defender Matija Nastasic picked up two yellows against Werder Bremen and will miss Saturday’s game with a suspension. Schalke’s attack will likely rely on Guido Burgstaller and Amine Harit. Burgstaller leads the club with eight goals, while Harit has been one of the better signings this season. The 20-year-old has scored three goals and added seven assists. Leon Goretzka has been the center of the Schalke midfield since joining the club from Bochum in 2013. However, the German international has signed a pre-contract agreement with Bayern and will join them after the World Cup.

In the first meeting this season, Bayern defeated Schalke 3-0 in Gelsenkirchen, with Lewandowski, James Rodriguez, and Arturo Vidal scoring. Schalke will be without American teenager Weston McKennie for the next month after he suffered a knee injury.
