After a brief rocky start, Donovan Mitchell has skyrocketed to the lead in the Rookie of the Year race (sorry Trust the Process-ers) and has guided the Jazz to an NBA best 10 game win streak. Does anyone remember that in his first four games he only made six of his 30 field goal attempts? Now he is averaging 19.5 points per game while compiling statistics that have him being linked to both Wilt Chamberlain and Michael Jordan.
What is his ceiling? How far can he take Utah? Is his scoring and defense truly more impressive than what Ben Simmons is accomplishing for the 76ers? How many teams are kicking themselves for missing him in the draft?
