What’s the next MCU movie after Black Panther? Find out what’s the next Marvel movie after Black Panther and what’s next in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Black Panther hits theaters this Friday, Feb. 16, but what comes after that? What’s the next MCU movie after Black Panther?

Marvel fans, like any fans of a major movie franchise, know that there’s never just one movie. It’s common these days for series to be planned out two to three flicks in advance, and that’s the case with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The next MCU movie after Black Panther is the big one that many moviegoers have been waiting for. It’s Avengers: Infinity War, which opens on May 4, 2018.

The third film in the Avengers series, after 2012’s The Avengers and 2018’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, Infinity War brings the whole band back together to fight Thanos (Josh Brolin; that’s right, the same guy who’s playing Cable in the X-Men universe).

That includes T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman), so you’ll have less than three months between his standalone appearance in Black Panther and the time that he suits up against a member of the Avengers. Efficient, isn’t it?

But that’s the beauty of the MCU. When one movie is about to open, there’s another one just around the corner, and Marvel hasn’t slowed down one bit since Iron Man dropped in 2008. Ten years and almost 20 films later, we’ve got all the Marvel superheroes that we could possibly ask for.

Get your tickets to Black Panther now here and catch it in theaters starting Feb. 16. Then mark your calendars for May 4, because that’s when you can watch the next MCU movie.
