Glory 50 Chicago: Weigh-in results

All the fighters stepped on the scale and made weight for Glory Kickboxing’s event in Chicago, including the two title fights on the card.
Glory Kickboxing returns to Chicago for the fifth time, more than any city in the world. For the Glory 50 card in Chicago, two title belts are on the line.
Lightweight challenger Christian Baya made weight at 153.8 lbs and the champion Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong also made weight at 153.2 lbs. Both Baya and Sitsongpeenong are Glory Contender tournament champions. The lightweight title will main event the Glory 50 SuperFight Series portion of the card.
Welterweight champion Murthel Groenhart will defend his belt against Harut Grigorian in the main event of Glory 50. Groenhart won the belt in Chicago and is making his first title defense in Chicago, a city that clearly brings some luck.
Groenhart made weight at 168.6 lbs and Grigorian weighed in at 169 lbs.
At Glory 42: Paris, Groenhart defeated Grigorian with a second-round KO when Groenhart hit Grigorian with his back turned. Way back at K-1 World MAX 2012 World Championship Tournament Final 16 in 2012, Groenhart defeated Grigorian with a third-round KO.
Groenhart read a poem: “You know I got him once, wait a minute I knocked him out twice. Now the third time is coming and the man better apologize. Cause when a predator step into that ring, he’s only coming for one thing. Now I know you got him, oh I know you got him big, but the man is in trouble you know last time what I did… I’m trying to make some money and buy myself a Breitling.”
