The latest medal winners have gotten their hardware and here is how the 2018 Winter Olympics medal count stands after Sunday, February 18.

Norway’s dominance of the 2018 Winter Olympics is one step closer to completion. On Sunday, Norway won four more medals, including two gold, to extend their total count to 26. That leaves Germany in second trailing by eight medals.

What’s more impressive is that Norway now leads the medal count for each individual medal as well. The two gold medals pulled Norway even with Germany at nine, the most at the 2018 Winter Olympics. Norway’s nine silver medal is four more Germany and Canada’s five. And Norway is tied with the Olympic Athletes from Russia with eight bronze medals, the most at the 2018 Games.

Team USA, which had steadily clung to the fifth spot on the medal table dropped to sixth despite Nick Goepper winning a silver medal in men’s ski slopestyle.

The Olympic Athletes from Russia won two medals, a silver and bronze, to move ahead of Team USA in the standings.

France had a big day on Sunday as well, winning three medals, a gold and two bronze medals. Martin Fourcade won gold for France in a biathlon event, his second medal of the tournament. France’s Alexis Pinturault won bronze in men’s giant slalom skiing, his second of the 2018 Games as well.

Ukraine won their first gold medal in the men’s aerial freestyle skiing.
