Borussia Dortmund are third in the Bundesliga table as they battle for the three Champions League spots behind Bayern Munich. Only six points separate second-place Schalke and sixth-place RB Leipzig. On Sunday, Dortmund host Hannover at Signal Iduna Park, looking to maintain their position in the table. Hannover are 12th in the table with 32 points but are out of contention for a European spot but safe from the relegation zone.

The addition of Batshuayi and return of Marco Reus has helped Dortmund replace Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang seamlessly. The win over Frankfurt extended Dortmund’s unbeaten streak since Peter Stoger took over as manager. Dortmund have not lost in their last 11 games, picking up 25 of 33 points.
Hannover have lost three straight games, falling from seventh to 12th in the table. André Breitenreiter’s team has struggled offensively in their last three games, scoring only once. The Reds offense is dependent on Niclas Füllkrug, who has scored 10 of the club’s 33 goals this season. Defensively, Hannover have struggled this season, allowing the sixth most goals in the Bundesliga.
