Newcastle face Huddersfield at St. James’ Park on Saturday, March 31. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Newcastle remain outside of the relegation zone since their 3-0 win over Southampton that ultimately got manager Mauricio Pellegrino fired. They’ll now face Huddersfield in yet another relegation six-pointer, needing another three points to begin to feel safer about surviving. Rafa Benitez seems to have rounded his squad into form at just the right time, gaining nine points in their past six matches including a shock win over Manchester United. With only eight matches left to play, Newcastle sit four points above the drop zone. Another three points against a fellow relegation battler would do them a world of good.
Huddersfield can’t seem to find their footing at the most crucial time in the Premier League. They snapped a five-game losing streak with two massive wins over Bournemouth and West Brom, but haven’t won in the three matches afterwards. The Terriers sit 15th place in the table, just three points above relegation. They’ll need wins in their next few matches, as they end the season against Chelsea, Everton, Manchester City and Arsenal. This is as must-win as they get for David Wagner and his coaching staff.
The Premier League match between Newcastle and Huddersfield will not be broadcast live on tv. Live streaming is available on NBC Sports Gold, which you can access by purchasing a single season package, either online or through the NBC Sports app.
Both Newcastle and Huddersfield desperately need three points to quell relegation fears, so this should be a fiercely contested battle.
