Tiger Woods is one of the most decorated golfers of all time. He has won 14 different majors, but how many of them have been at the Masters?

For the first time in two years, Tiger Woods is returning to the Masters after missing three of the last four due to back operations that he has had to recover from. Woods underwent a fusion surgery in April 2017, but has been showing tremendous signs that he is ready to return to the top of the leaderboards week in and week out.

Tiger Woods has won four of his 14 major titles at the Masters. His first win came in 1997 and he added three more green jackets to his trophy case in 2001, 2002 and 2005. Woods is the early betting favorite after his terrific showings at the Valspar Championship and Arnold Palmer Invitational. Woods has not won a tournament since 2013.

In 1997, Tiger won his first Masters as a professional. He absolutely blitzed the field shooting 18 under beating Tom Kite, who was in second place, by a whopping 12 strokes. What he did was absolutely unprecedented and actually caused Augusta to renovate the course so that this could not happen again. In 2001, Woods won his second Masters while shooting 16 under and beating David Duval by two strokes. In 2002, Woods won his third Masters, which was his fourth consecutive major and is now nicknamed, “The Tiger Slam.” He became the third player to ever defend his title. In 2005, Woods defeated Chris DiMarco in a playoff. He was able to get there thanks to some memorable play, including “The Chip heard ’round the World” to the left of the 16 green. Even though he has not been able to capture a title in almost 15 years, he is always a fixture on the leaderboard and has finished inside the top ten multiple times.
