AC Milan face Inter Milan at San Siro Stadium on Wednesday, April 4. Here’s all the info you need to watch. 

The Milan Derby returns on Wednesday, with AC Milan hosting Inter at the San Siro. Inter enter the game in fourth place, holding an eight-point lead over sixth place AC Milan.

Milan’s decision to fire Vincenzo Montella and replace him with Gennaro Gattuso saved the club’s season. Despite losing last weekend to Juventus, Milan have won nine games and picked up 30 points in 15 games under Gattuso. Milan have been better offensively and defensively under Gattuso. After being invisible for much of his time under Montello, Hakan Calhanoglu has been significantly better since the managerial change. Calhanoglu has a goal and an assist in Milan’s last two games and will need to make an impact against Inter if Milan are going to pick up all three points.

Inter are battling Roma and Lazio for the two final Champions League spot. Roma are third with 60 points, two points ahead of Inter and three points ahead of Lazio. Luciano Spalletti’s side have won two straight games and have picked up points in 10 of their last 11 games. Mauro Icardi has been brilliant this season, scoring twice last weekend in Inter’s win against Verona. Icardi has scored 24 goals this season, including six in his last two games. Ivan Perisic has played a large role in Icardi’s success this season. The Croatian playmaker has scored nine goals and has nine assists this season. Defensively, only Juventus and Napoli have allowed fewer goals than Inter. Spalletti’s center-back pairing of Miranda and Milan Skriniar have had strong seasons.
